Booking, Session & Refund Policies

Thank you for booking with Melique! Please review the following policies to make the most of your session:

1. Our Services

• Coaching Sessions: Focus on commercial or animation skills using copy provided by Melique.

  • Please Note: These sessions are dedicated to long-term skill building and learning. If you need immediate assistance with an upcoming audition, please book our Audition Prep service to ensure you get the targeted feedback required for your submission.

  • Sessions start and end as scheduled and cannot be broken up into multiple smaller sessions.

• Audition Prep: Targeted coaching for your specific upcoming auditions. Please provide your own copy for these sessions.

  • Initial Audition Prep ($150/30 minutes) is for one character or one commercial copy. Additional characters or commercial are an additional $50 each.

  • Sessions start and end as scheduled and cannot be broken up into multiple smaller sessions.

  • Sides & Specs for each character must be uploaded:

    • Buyer Profile as soon as possible.

    • Log In: Go to meliqueberger.com and log in to your account.

    • Access Your Profile: Navigate to your Buyer Profile (found in the site menu or your account settings).

    • Find Your Booking: Locate your upcoming session under your "My Bookings" or "Orders" section.

    • Upload Files: Use the "Upload Materials" or "Add File" button to attach your scripts, sides, or demo notes.

    • Confirm: Once uploaded, our team will be notified, and Melique will have everything she needs for your session!

    • Tip: If you have multiple characters or scripts for an Audition Prep session, please label your files clearly (e.g., CharacterName_ProjectTitle.pdf) to save time during your session.

• Demo Production: A comprehensive, full-service experience including strategy, custom scripts, a 90-minute directed Zoom recording, and a professionally produced reel.

2. Scheduling & Attendance

• Be on Time: Your session starts and ends at the scheduled time.

​

• Grace Period: We offer a 10-minute grace period. Arriving later than 10 minutes is considered a "no-show," and the session will be forfeited without a refund.

​

• Preparation: Please arrive warmed up and ready to work with any necessary scripts or materials on hand.

​

• All sessions must be used within one year of purchase. Expired sessions are non-refundable.

​

3. Changes & Cancellations

• 24-Hour Rule: All rescheduling or cancellations must be handled at least 24 hours in advance through your buyer profile. ​​

​

• Late Changes or Cancellations: Requests made with less than 24 hours' notice are non-refundable and may not be eligible for rescheduling.

​

• Expiration: All sessions must be used within one year of the purchase date.

 

4. The "Working Actor" Policy

Because Melique is an active professional in the industry, unexpected same-day bookings or callbacks may occasionally require us to move your session. If this happens, our team will contact you immediately via your buyer profile to find a new time that works for you.

 

5. Communication

To keep everything organized, please send all questions, scripts, and rescheduling requests through your buyer profile at www.meliqueberger.com. NOT email or social media.

 

6. Refunds

Refunds are issued at the discretion of Berger's Reels LA. Approved refunds are provided via gift cards for services at meliqueberger.com (note: these are not valid for workshops or clinics).

7. Preparedness
Be on time, warmed up, and ready to work. Bring scripts or demo materials. Sessions begin and end on schedule; late arrivals will shorten your session.

​

8. Refunds & Digital Gift Card Credit
All purchases are final and non-refundable. Credits for cancelled sessions may be issued as a non-transferable digital gift card for future services. No cash value; lost/stolen/unused cards are not replaced, except as required by law. California residents may redeem balances <$10 for cash. Gift card terms and disclosures are available at purchase and online in compliance with California and New York law.

By completing your booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these policies. Terms may be updated with notice.
